Ms. Grace Leighton

Gracie is a teacher, choreographer, and performer. Her most recent work “Goodnight Grace” was a semi-finalist at the Blow-Up Art House Film Festival in 2023. 

As a dancer, Gracie has had the pleasure of performing at Ailey Citigroup Theater,  Dixon Place, Pulse on Tour NYC, for the NC Dance Festival, and as a guest with companies such as Techmoja Dance Company and Theater in her home state in North Carolina. Gracie grew up dancing and eventually took her training to NYC where she was accepted as a professional student at Broadway Dance Center. Upon completion, she continued her studies another two years after her program ended with renowned faculty such as Ginger Cox, Kim Holmes, and Leslie Feliciano. 

Her approach to teaching focuses on dance performance, foundational movement, and authenticity. She is also a certified personal trainer, and exercise behavioral specialist, and takes that knowledge into the classroom.
