Production Week Tips

#1 Read the production info from Start to Finish!

Sit down with your dancer and go through all information together

#2 Write down your Schedule

A clear understanding of the production schedule helps to reduce stress for all!

#2.5 Reach out in advance with any schedule concerns

Showing up late or missing mandatory calls without prior notice is highly stressful for all, and may result in loss of performance eligibility.

#3 Let Production Week be Production Week

Performing dancers should be solely focused on performing during show week.

#4 Self-Care is Essential

Proper Nourishment, Rest and Self-Care techniques are all keys to a successful production week.

#5 Eliminate External Stress

Parents, please remember that your dancer feeds off of your energy too.

Taking care of not just your dancer(s), but also yourself is equally important for your dancer’s success!

If you or your dancer have questions or concerns leading up to, or during, the production process, please reach out to us for support: admin@theballetcompanysd.com

We are here to help!
