Ms Sara Boyd

Ms. Sara Boyd has been a part of the TBC family for many years and is thrilled to be officially on staff this season. Sara has always centered her life around her dance training and spent her high school years attending La Mesa Arts Academy and San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts where she specialized in ballet and modern technique. She was concurrently enrolled in TBC's Conservatory Program under Artistic Director, Jill Gibson. Her twelve years of dancing dance training have included Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theatre and Partnering. 

Along with her training in dance technique and performance, Sara has been dedicated to become a great teacher. She spent 5 years as a Teacher Assistant learning classroom management, lesson planning and dance pedagogy. She was mentored by  teachers both at The Ballet Company and at La Mesa Arts Academy. She is currently teaching Modern Technique for Levels 2B & 3 and serves as a substitute teacher for ballet and jazz.

Sara looks forward to continuing her teaching path at TBC and what the future holds in her dancing career.
