What to Wear

• For Tech Rehearsal & In-Studio Full Run dates, dancers should arrive in class uniform.

• For Picture Day & ALL Dress Rehearsal dates, dancers should arrive in make-up & hair for 1st costume. Please bring your lip color with you & apply once in costume. Back-up make-up and hair supplies should be kept in dance bags. Primary Dancers will be assisted with applying lip-color.

• Wear your privacy leotard / undergarments under your street clothes when traveling to and from In-Studio Dress Rehearsal & the Theatre. 

• FEMALE DANCERS: Wear the tights for your 1st costume OVER your privacy leotard / undergarments. This way your undergarments always maintain their place as your base layer and you can easily change tights as needed!

• All dancers should please wear warm, comfortable cover-ups over their tights and leotard when traveling to and from the theatre/studio. Dancers will also need these warm-ups to keep warm during the stop and go of production rehearsals!

• Dancers must bring all required tights and shoes with them (See guidelines ). Please pack minimum 2 pairs of each style of tights you are required for your costumes.

• TBC Faculty & Volunteers will be backstage to assist students with all costume changes. Parents are not permitted backstage unless they are a pre-approved volunteer. This is for the safety of our students & crew, AND so that parents are able to enjoy the show! Thank you for adhering to these guidelines.

• 2 PAIRS OF TIGHTS FOR EACH STYLE YOU ARE REQUIRED The 2nd pair is your emergency / backup pair in case you get a run or hole!

• ALL REQUIRED DANCE SHOES 

• WATER BOTTLE No soda or any other beverages please! 

• NON-MESSY SNACKS  Examples: Carrot Sticks, Plain Nuts, Apple Slices, Pretzels...Nothing that leaves any residue on fingers that will get on your costumes!

• TOUCH-UP MAKE-UP + LIP COLOR

• COMB / BRUSH 

• HAIR SUPPLIES (Bobby Pins, Hair Pins, Hair Nets, Hair Ties, Hair Spray) Pick up a TBC Bun Kit from the front desk to keep in your dance bag! ($10)

• WARM-UP CLOTHES
  • Ballet Sweater/TBC Jacket or Vest
  • Sweatpants or Legwarmers

Please DO NOT bring valuables to the theatre! 

We cannot be responsible for your personal belongings backstage.
