Ms Gabby | Tap

Gabby Record is an up-and-coming dance and theater teacher hailing from Southampton, Massachusetts. Gabby started dancing when she was three years old, and began competing in various styles by the time she was six. Her primary style has always been tap, which she competed regionally and nationally throughout her adolescence. After spending high school in various leadership positions in music, dance, and theater, and teaching dance classes after school, Gabby went on to earn her Bachelor's of Professional Music from Berklee College of Music, concentrating in entrepreneurship and musical theater writing. While in college, she earned her College Reading and Learning Level II certification in music tutoring, and tutored tap at Berklee's sister school, The Boston Conservatory. Gabby began pursuing any and all opportunities in the performing arts after graduating from college, and has naturally fallen into many teaching roles in dance and theater (and even gymnastics!). She plans to eventually pursue her Masters of Fine Arts in Musical Theater to further her teaching and creative entrepreneurship career. Gabby is beyond excited to be teaching tap once again in her new home on the other side of the country! She cannot wait to share one of her greatest passions with the fabulous dancers at The Ballet Company.
